Prior to the pandemic, I was 18 year old and spent the last 6 years training to become a professional ballet dancer with Canada’s National Ballet School. Then came the pause that made everyone get outside and exercise. My Dad (Dan Bainard) had a bagful of discs from his early throwing days and he introduced me to disc golf.
I never looked back. Elite training allowed a natural transition to excelling quickly with the form and technique that disc golf requires.
I’ve had the time of my life meeting a great community, new friends and working on all aspects of the game to become a better player. My goal this year is to learn and thrive with the Don B family and hopefully have a few top finishes in MA1 before I move on to MPO.
